Working Group on Descriptors
The Board of the scopeArchiv User Group decided at its meeting on 12 May 2010 to set up a working group of limited duration to deal with the implementation of the Descriptors Module.
To facilitate creation, management and retrieval of descriptors, the functionalities of the module should be subjected to an analysis in which the partner module is only taken into account to the extent that it is administering historical persons. The development of a national authorities’ portal for the standardisation and upkeep of personal, geographical and specialist concepts may only be conceived and discussed within the working group.

- Recommend improvements in the functionalities of the descriptors module
