Welcome

The scopeArchiv User Group (scAUG), founded in 2001, is a group of representatives from various institutions that carry out their business processes in information and documentation using the scopeArchiv application from scope solutions AG. These processes range from contact with partners, acquisitions, arrangement and description, location management and usage, to the online catalogue and digital archiving. ScopeArchiv was developed in 1998-1999 and since then has been improved and adapted continually with the active support of the User Group. The scopeArchiv User Group aims

• to encourage a regular exchange of experience and information among its members in order to encourage best-practice day-to-day use of scopeArchiv;
• to contribute actively to the constant development of scopeArchiv, taking into account user needs, national and international standards, as well as technical innovation.

To accomplish these two primary tasks, the scopeArchiv User Group maintains a website that serves as a discussion forum and information platform and includes both a public and a secure area. The secure area is used to store meeting minutes and other meeting documentation. Working groups also have a wiki at their disposal, to enable members to participate in the working groups in spite of great geographical distances.
