Training Courses
The scopeArchiv User Group offers its member institutions the opportunity to send two of its employees each year to a basic training course organised by scopeArchiv. The training sessions are run by scope solutions ag for the User Group at a reduced price. For member institutions, the basic training courses are free of charge. At least two people must register for a course in order for it to take place, and the maximum number of participants is five. The training sessions are normally held in German, but can also be held in French or English.

Course content
The course is based on Release 4.3.1. Shortly after the majority of clients have migrated to Release 5, the course will be based on Release 5. This is currently foreseen for autumn 2010.
| Content | Introduction to the basic functions of the modules on units of description and descriptors. Introduction to the export options to MS Excel and MS Word via the export plug-in and the templates plug-in, respectively. |
| Target group | The course is for employees new to archival description, who have a basic knowledge of archiving and are familiar with MS Office 2007. |
