About us

The Member’s Meeting (consisting of representatives from the member institutions), the Board and the Auditors make up the management bodies of the scopeArchiv User Group. The seat of the association is identical to the current president’s place of work. The User Group’s two most important working instruments are the strategic programme and the annual goals. The strategic programme is updated annually and sets out the association’s activities for the next three years. The annual goals are derived from the current strategic programme and form the basis for the annual work programme that is implemented by the Board.

To ensure the use of scopeArchiv in digital archiving
To continue to develop user functions (online research and loans)
To continue to develop basic functions
To continue developments for record creators (research of government records)

Annual goals 2011

To create a new working group for the basic functions of scopeArchiv and to continue the working group for the Descriptors until summer 2011
To hold an Erfa meeting for application managers on how to use the model migration process for the migration on version 5.0
To hold an Erfa workshop on introducing digital archiving with scopeIngest with presentation of examples
To translate the new web site into english and french
To conduct a survey analysing requirements for further development of scopeArchiv’s basic functions
To fund four basic training courses in scopeArchiv
