Since its foundation in 2001 by the Cantonal Archives of Basel-Stadt, the Cantonal Archives of Thurgau, the Swiss Federal Archives and scope solutions ag, the scopeArchiv User Group has grown to include 28 members. Its members come from the field of information and documentation, and institutions include particularly the federal and cantonal archives, city archives, as well as public and private organisations and foundations. Each member has a seat and a vote at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in the first quarter of each year. The Annual General Meeting approves the strategic programme, the annual goals and the budget, as well as the annual report and accounts. It sets the membership fees and appoints the Board and the Auditors.
